What to Expect

After reaching out, one of our caring therapists will give you a call for a brief 5-10 minute chat to gather a bit more information. During that call, we will discuss your assigned fee and any partnerships that may support further fee reductions. Next, the best-suited therapist for your case will be assigned and will reach out to schedule your first appointment. Prior to your initial meeting, you'll receive an email with an intake packet for review and electronic signature through DocuSign.

During your first appointment, our focus will be on getting to know you and addressing any legalities covered in the intake packet. From there, your therapist will work collaboratively with you to define treatment goals and develop a plan to achieve them.

Eden's Clinic FAQs:

Q: How long will it take to hear back?

Once you reach out, it can take 2-5 business days for our clinician to give you a call back. Sometimes, we end up playing phone tag before we can connect, but we will always try to call at least three times - even if we haven’t heard back yet.

Q: Do you take insurance?

We do not currently take any insurance. We do offer superbills and recommend checking with your insurance to see if they offer any out-of-network benefits.

Q: When will a therapist be able to see me?

It depends on how long it takes to find a fit between a therapist and your needs. Some things will speed up that timeline: being open to telehealth services, having a flexible schedule for meeting with a therapist, and being open to different kinds of providers. The more specific you are about what you need, the longer it may take to find the right fit for you. And that's OK with us! We want you to get what you need, and in some cases it may just take more time.

Q: How much does it cost?

Our standard full fee is $180 per 50-minute session. We also offer a sliding scale based on our household income. The lowest fee we offer is $40 per session. You will be notified of your fee when you first speak to our therapists. We do also have some community partnerships that allow us more flexibility, and we will advise you if any of those apply to you.

Q: How often will I meet with my therapist?

Most of the time, we recommend meeting with your new therapist once per week. Less often and it can be difficult to make the progress you want. Occasionally, after some time working together you and your therapist might agree that meeting every other week will work.

You can think of it like working out: if you only go once in a while, you probably won’t be able to achieve your fitness goals. However, if you go consistently and often, you will be able to make the gains you’re hoping for.
